We collect only what we need to put your ball in the race and show the result.
Who we are
Promotto is run by EGO HERO LLC, which is responsible for your data. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean EGO HERO LLC.
What we store
- Your Instagram username and Instagram‑scoped user ID (IGSID), from your comment on a race post.
- The text of that comment and when you posted it.
- Your place in each race you entered.
- If you message us on Instagram, the message and your IGSID.
- Later, if you choose them: your ball's colour, a short label, and a photo you upload.
We do not collect your password, email address, follower list or location. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we store it
- To give each unique commenter one ball and leave out duplicates and spam.
- To publish the result: the winner's username, and each entrant's username and place.
- To answer your messages and handle deletion requests.
We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
What is public
Usernames appear on the balls in the race video. The winner's username appears in the caption and on this site. A results file listing usernames and places is published with each race.
How long we keep it
- Entry records (username, IGSID, comment) for 12 months after the race, so a result can be checked.
- Published videos and results for as long as the race stays on Instagram.
- Messages for 12 months after the conversation ends.
- Deleted sooner whenever you ask. See data deletion.
Where it is kept
Race files are stored with Cloudflare. We read entries through Meta's official Instagram API. Email goes through Hostinger.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, and you can stop entering by no longer commenting.
